Sandra Kay (Thompson) Brewer, 63, of Gainesville, passed away January 13, 2026, in Denton.
Sandra was born July 13, 1962 in Pampa, TX. After graduating from NCTC, she began her nursing career of over 30 years, the last 13 with the NTMC Clinic.
Predeceased by: parents Jay and Wilma (Miller) Thompson; sister-in-law Mary Thompson; and daughter-in-law Regina Brewer.
Survived by: brother Alan Thompson; son Stephen Brewer; daughter and son-in-law Chelsea Whiddon and Lohman Whiddon Jr.; grandchildren Tyler Walden, Victoria Brewer, Christian Brewer, Daniel Brewer Savanna Whiddon, and Hayden Brewer; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, January 19, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville. The family will receive friends following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cooke County Special Olympics.
