Sandy S. (Haar) Cutchall, 78, of Elmore passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the Genoa Care Center, Genoa Ohio. Sandy was born on January 4, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio and was adopted by Edna and Ervin (Strackeljohn) Haar. Sandy grew up in Elmore, attending Woodmore Schools and after graduation, she graduated from the Riverside Nursing School, in Toledo.
Sandy spent several years as a nurse and caregiver at Luther Home of Mercy in Williston and the Ruth Ide Center in Toledo, where she collected many friends.
Sandy was devoted to her faith and loved taking all the kids to Church. She spent many years coaching softball for the Genoa Girls Softball program. She enjoyed trains and train trips, having taken each of her grandkids on a train trip to Washington D.C. If you ever met Sandy, there is a very big chance we have a picture of you, as she loved taking pictures and photography. One of her greatest accomplishments was searching for, finding and growing her relationship with members of her birth family. Her favorite thing to do was to take her grandkids to the zoo, because of that they all share that love.
Sandy is survived by her son, Clay (Brandy) Cutchall; Grandchildren, Chelsea (Lee) Reamsnyder, Levi (Jacey) Cutchall, Louis (Hannah) Cutchall, Chase (Jada) Cutchall, Cole (Samantha) Cutchall and Rylie (Devin) Cutchall and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin & Edna Haar, her daughter Jennifer V. Cutchall, her son Daniel "Goober" Cutchall and special friends, David Young and Fran Drummond.
Visitation for Sandy will be held from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2024, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St. Genoa, Ohio. Interment will follow at the Harris-Elmore-Union Cemetery, Elmore, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in Sandy's honor to Toledo Zoo or Luther Home of Mercy in Williston, Ohio.
