Sandra "Sandy" Daugherty, age 51 of Wheeling, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at UPMC, Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born December 10, 1972 in Cincinnati, OH daughter of the late Thomas Amos and Karen Bates.
Sandy was a former hairstylist and a member of the Vineyard Church; she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren; enjoyed shopping and spending time at the casino.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister: Penny LaRose; one nephew: Benjamin Smith and one niece: Elizabeth "Izzy" Hardy.
Survivors include her husband, of 22 years, William "Bill" Daugherty; two daughters: Brooke (Brian) Poe of Kimbolton, OH and Hailey (Ryan) Barr of Dennison, OH; 7 grandchildren: Haydin, Daniel, Ryan Jr., Kyla, Alayna, Kaelyn and Cooper; three sisters: Peggy Smith of Chandlersville, OH, Tammy Chalk of Baltimore, MD and Renee Hardy of Pittsburgh, PA; one step-brother: Jimmy Cole of Lebanon, TN; step-mother: Patricia (Patsy) Amos, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday at 12pm until time of service at 2pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Bethlehem/Wheeling with Pastor Mike Camden officiating.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
