Sandra Hey Dickson, 91, a homemaker, died April 6, 2025, at Clarksdale Nursing Home. Visitation is Thursday, April 10, 2025, 10:00am - 11:00am at Clarksdale Methodist Church in Clarksdale, MS. Funeral services are 11:00am Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Clarksdale Methodist Church in Clarksdale, MS with burial in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah, LA. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
Sandra Hey Dickson was born on May 4, 1933, near Tippo, Mississippi to Morris and Sammie Hey. She married James Archie Dickson on May 24, 1949.She was a member of Clarksdale Methodist Church. Survivors include her children Richard Dickson (Ms Charlotte) of Clarksdale, David Dickson (Dina) of Hughes Springs, Texas and Julie Dickson Diaz (Camilo) of Clarksdale: Brother-in-law John T. Dickson (Peggy) of Tippo, MS; Sisters-in -law Louise Brown of Madison, MS; and Clovis Cole of Charleston, MS. Sandra is also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Archie; parents, Morris and Sammie Hey, sister Marsha Moorman; son Steven Dickson, grandson Creig Mitchell and granddaughter Destiny Dickson.
