She was an avid walker and loved her cats, Roger and Gilligan. She enjoyed being at the ocean and embroidery.
Sandy worked at Adult and Pediatric Urology in Torrington for twenty years as a medical receptionist. She was well-known for her exceptional organizational skills and her caring, happy relationship with the patients.
Special thanks to Dr. Talsania, Kathy, Jordan and the entire staff at the Smilow Cancer Center in Torrington. Also thanks to the VNA staff of Litchfield County Hospice. Their care, concern and love are greatly appreciated.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, March 22, at 11 a.m. at the Litchfield Community Center, 421 Bantam Road, Litchfield.

Sandra was a quiet, polite, hard working student of mine. I encountered her as a receptionist at Dr. Devanney's office. She was fantastic in that arena. My personal condolences go out to her family. I shall remember Sandra with fondness. Peter Dauten
