Sandra Gayle Doublin was born January 12th, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Gayle and Ruby J. (Smith) Madden and passed away on September 23rd, 2025 at the age of 83 years old.
Sandra was united in marriage to the late Clyde Doublin on June 25th, 1960 in Kinder, Missouri and was a member of Kinder Chapel. She was a lifelong resident of Puxico, where she owned and operated Sandy's Beauty Shop. In her spare time, Sandy volunteered at the Mission in Puxico and was a hairdresser at area nursing homes. She especially enjoyed helping others, attending school events to watch her grandchildren and corresponding with her classmates from Puxico class of '59.
Surviving family include: one son, Kenneth G. (Cheryl) Doublin of Puxico, Missouri, one daughter, Lana K. (Tim) Hager of Van Buren, Missouri, five grandchildren: Katie Franklin (Matthew), Austin Doublin, Brittany Nickelson (Jacob), Brianna Doublin and Macy Hager. Sandy additionally had three great granddaughters she loved dearly: Kinley Ann, Emberly Kay Franklin and Chloe Vivian Nickelson and two sisters, Joan Renner of Florida and Linda Madden of Lexington, Kentucky.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clyde Doublin, and two sisters, Jeanette Short and Debbie Madden
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 27th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 27th, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Burial will follow at the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri.
