Jeannie was born in Springfield, Missouri to Marvin and Ruthie Russell on August 24, 1948. She attended Central High School. Jeannie owned and worked at Ruthie's bar and the Stepchild Lounge.
Jeannie married the love of her life Keith Doublin in 1985. Together they had three children, Leroy McElroy, Sandy Jackson, and Samantha Heilman.
Jeannie's parents, Marvin and Ruthie Russell, brother, Gary Russell, son, Leroy McElroy and an aunt, Bobbie Grider preceded her in death.
Jeannie is survived by her husband, Keith of the home, daughters, Sandy Jackson and Samantha Heilman, grandsons, Josh Ulrey, and Dalton Blackard, granddaughters, Halona Jackson, Amber Burnett, Lydia Neeman, Jessica Wright, Hannah Gardner, and a great-grandson, Wyatt Wright.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, fishing, and taking trips with her husband.
A family directed Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Ruthie's off C-street, 1611 N. Campbell, Springfield, MO 65803.
