Her greatest joy came from her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile that could light up a room.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Ethel Buchanan, and adored brothers, Bobby, Mike, Freddy, and Pat Buchanan.
She is survived by her husband, John; son, Greg Edmonds; daughter, Sherry Grushka, and son-in-love, Jeffrey Grushka; grandchildren, Jordan Kay Grushka, Maddie Edmonds, and Bob Edmonds; as well as her loving sisters-in-law and many loved nieces and nephews.
Her wings were ready; our hearts were not.
Funeral services for Sandra will be held 12:00 pm Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Home East Brainerd Chapel. Interment will follow at New McDonald Cemetery in Ooltewah, TN.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, October 17, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Home East Brainerd Rd Chapel and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to service.
