Sandra S. (Sandy) Ficken (nee Seyer), of Bridgeton, MO, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the age of 86. Cherished daughter of the late Ed and Olga (Spann) Seyer; devoted mother of David (Linda) Ficken, Mike (Ann) Ficken, Amy (Mik) Stambuk, and Nancy (Jim) Argent; loving grandmother of Lauren (Connor) Medzigian, Mark Ficken, Andrew Ficken, Jack Argent, Cole Argent, Mira Stambuk, Sophia Stambuk, and Ava Argent; treasured great-grandmother of Logan Medzigian; dear sister of Jim (Cindy) Seyer; sister-in-law of Caroline (Bill) Knox; loving aunt and great-aunt to her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Charles Ficken, and her sister and brother-in-law Carole and Jim Beauvais.

Sandy found joy in growing her own herbs, flowers and vegetables. She loved butterflies and visiting the Botanical Gardens. She cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren, and her extended family. An avid reader and gifted writer, Sandy filled numerous journals with her observations, recollections and reflections all in her beautiful handwriting. She was a devout Catholic, was deeply committed to her faith, actively involved in her church, and participated in many retreats over the years. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Sandy's name to St. Vincent DePaul Society.
