Sandra Ellen Clay Foust of 257 Curry Street, Mebane, NC entered eternal rest on October 29, 2025. Sandra was born in Alamance County on March 19, 1949, to Allene Clay Oakley and William Jackson Roberts, both deceased.
Sandra graduated from Jordan Sellars Senior High School in 1967, and in 2005 decided to return to school and went to Alamance Community College and received her associate's degree in criminal justice. She retired from Burlington Industries after 49 years of service. Sandra served as a member of St. Mary's Order of Eastern Star in Mebane, NC as well as a Daughter of Isis in Burlington, NC. She was a member of Morgantown Baptist Church and God's Favor Community Church until her health declined.
Sandra was married for 40 years to Donald Ray Foust, Sr. who was the Love of her life. From this union they were blessed with three children: Amy Foust, of the home, Andrea Foust Crisp (Garfield, Jr.) and Donald "Ray" Foust, Jr. both of Mebane.
She leaves to cherish her memory her three children whom she adored, four grandchildren; Garfield R. Crisp III "Trey" of Mebane, Jaylen Foust of Fuquay Varina, Sydney Crisp and Madison Foust both of Mebane; one brother, Steven W. Clay (Sheila) of Greensboro and her extended sibling, Jackie Roberts (Gayle) of Cedar Grove; one brother-in-law, Charles Fonville (Rosemary) of Fort Washington, Maryland; three sisters-in-law, Janice Brown, Elenor Brown and Rosemary Clay; and her special uncle, Joe Foust of Glen Raven.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother, Larry Clay, her sister, Linda Miles (Thomas) and her extended siblings, William "Bill" Roberts, Jr., Carolyn Roberts, Agnes "Becky" Roberts and Peggy Roberts.
