Sandra Elaine Gage

Sandra "Sandy" Elaine Gage, age 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on February 7, 2026. She was a beloved sister, partner, and friend, whose vibrant spirit and larger-than-life personality brought joy to all who knew her. Sandra was known for her unique sense of style, often adorned in bright and lively fashion, reflecting her cheerful disposition.

A passionate traveler, Sandra cherished her time at the beach and enjoyed the excitement of the casino. She had a sweet tooth and relished her favorite treat, cream horns with milk. Sandra dedicated over twenty years of her career to UofL Health Care in the medical records department before transitioning to the Jefferson County District Court, where she served as a clerk and concluded her career with two decades of loyal service.

Born on January 2, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Doyle and Jean (Stocker) Gage. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her special friend, Venita Jones. Sandra is survived by her loving brother, Brian Gage; her husband, Alfredo Cuellar; her aunt, Dorothy (James) Snellen; her best friend, Pam Langley; and a wide circle of extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of Life will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at the same location.

In honor of Sandra’s legacy, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
