Sandra S. "Sandy" Holtz

Sandra S. Holtz "Sandy", 83, went home to live her eternal life with Jesus on Sunday January 18, 2026, at her home in Columbus surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on Sunday, September 6, 1942 in Indianapolis to Donald Eugene and Marietta Thelma (Choate) Talbert who preceded her into heaven. Sandy lived most of her life in Indianapolis and graduated from Manual High School. She was employed by Aero Mayflower and then worked for 7 years at Southeastern Nursery School. She was a longtime member of Southeastern Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Thomas L. Holtz, daughters; Vicki (Mark) Cappola, Lori (Ron) McGriff; son, Craig (Debbie) Holtz; grandchildren, Nick Cappola, Tony Cappola, Katie Gray, Kara Collins, Kristen Tillapaugh, Drake Holtz, MacKenzie Holtz, Payge Winstead and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Southeastern Church of Christ, 6500 Southeastern Ave, Indianapolis, 46203. Visitation will be from 11:00am-12:00 with funeral to begin at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in New Crown Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to Southeastern Church of Christ Food Pantry or to the The Parkinson's Foundation.
