Sandra Immel Obituary

Sandi Immel, of Blanco, passed away at the age of 58 years in San Antonio, Texas. She was born June 30, 1967 in Garland, Texas to Loyd and Carolyn Williams.

Sandra Kay Immel entered her heavenly home of eternal peace on July 2, 2025. Sandra Kay (Sandi), Momma, and her favorite (Ome), was born June 30, 1967 in Garland, Texas to Carolyn Kincaid and Loyd Williams before moving to Texarkana followed by Blanco, Texas, her forever home.

Sandi graduated from Blanco High School in 1985, where soon she met her husband, Troy. They were married Easter Sunday, April 7, 1996.

Sandi was very active in her children's upbringing as a stay-at-home mom until her youngest was in school and continued to be active through their extracurriculars. She worked at a law firm in San Antonio until her mother-in-law passed away and she was needed at Immel's Dairy Service, with her husband, Troy. She was a diehard Aggie Mom and fan and was extremely proud when both kids graduated from Texas A&M University. Family and her grandchildren were #1 in her life.

Sandi was extremely loyal with a huge heart. She always put others first, always giving, and never worried about receiving anything in return. Sandi loved her Coke memorabilia, traveling, and her Bougainvilleas, even if Troy despised them(they still got planted every year). Most of all, she loved her family, and devoted herself to spoiling her grandchildren, no matter how much their parents may have protested. Sandi was involved in St. Ferdinand's Catholic Church and the Women's ACT's.

Preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Kincaid; father, Loyd Williams; nephews, Matthew Morganson and Ben Kroll; mother-in-law, Pricilla Immel, and brother-in-law, Bret Immel.

Survived by husband Troy; son, Kyle and daughter-in-law Jing; daughter, Alicia; father-in-law, Ronnie; grandsons, KaiGe Thomas and YoKai Loyd; granddaughter, AiYa Carolyn-Kay; siblings, Lynn and Shonda Williams, Suzy and Chuck Kroll, and Bobbie and Jeff Ashcraft, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Mike Lindeman, Freddie Laumer, Wayne 'Bootsy' Young, Chris San Miguel, Ryan Sanders and Payden Price.

Visitation was held at Schaetter Funeral Home on Sunday, July 6, from 2-5 p.m., with a Rosary at 4:30 p.m.

A Mass of Resurrection was held on Monday, July 6, at St. Ferdinand's Catholic Church in Blanco at 10 a.m., with burial following in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Blanco.
