Sandra Kimbrough, was the daughter of the late Hermon and Izetta Kimbrough, of Ewing Township, NJ. Sandra was born on July 13, 1963 and departed from this life on Saturday September 7, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton New Jersey.
She received her education in the Ewing Public School System and continued her education at Kean University in Union, New Jersey.
Sandra was a member of the Trenton Chapter of National Women of Achievement and was the National Honoree in 2003, and a member of Concerned Citizens of Ewing.
She was an entrepreneur who organized and supported numerous community organizations through The Kimbrough Company, Inc. - the family arm that reached out to many families in unprecedented ways.
Sandra was the founder of the African American Breast Cancer Survivors Yoga Program and was the recipient of the 2019 Cancer Treatment Centers of America "Medical Classroom" and was awarded for her traditional yoga and "therapeutic laughter" yoga programs for those impacted by cancer.
She was the founder of 4SISTAH CEOs honoring women in leadership roles.
Sandra was a horticulturalist and loved working outdoors and gardening.
She, in her youth, was a faithful member of St. Johns Baptist church and sang in the choir. Her mother would often say "Sandra, that girl can sing."
Sandra has traveled the "World."
Sandra Kimbrough was predeceased by her parents both whom were born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and only sister, Etta DeNisa Kimbrough.
She leaves to cherish precious memories two special cousins/caretakers, Derrick Hamlett and Winfred Hamlett of Alabama, whom Sandra called her "Supermen"; other relatives and friends; special confidant, Sylvia Hood - whom she spoke of as her sister; and Georgia Hood, whom she called Pastor.
