Sandra Louise Knapp

On September 2, 2022, Sandra Louise Knapp, 82, of Branson, Missouri went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born in Waynesville, Missouri, on March 1, 1940 to Edgar and Goldie McKinnon. She was the youngest of five children. Sandra attended Waynesville Public Schools. On November 10, 1973 she was united in marriage to Jerry B. Knapp at Fort Leonard Wood Chapel. Sandra loved helping others. Most of her life was dedicated to the home and raising her children. Sandra worked at multiple school cafeterias in Rolla preparing food for students.
Sandra and Jerry moved from Rolla to Branson in 1991. They loved going to shows and both of them worked at Box Car Willie Theater. For several years, she also worked at Southern Oaks Inn preparing breakfast for guests. She was immersed in the Christian community and enjoyed fellowship with friends at church.
Survivors include: Steve and Sheila Wilkinson (Dixon, MO), Sam and Marilyn Wilkinson (Boca Ratón, FL), Tina Wilkinson (Fair Hope, AL), Chris and Katy Knapp (Nixa, MO).
Grandchildren: Rob (Jamey) Wilkinson, Lacey (David) Lawson, Kasha Beltarri, Eddie (Kjella) Acosta, Emilio (Vanessa) Acosta, Steven Wilkinson, Shane Fitzsimmons, Kaitlyn Mefferd, Mary Mefferd, Liam Mefferd, Zack Knapp and Tyler Knapp.
Great Grandchildren: Lindsay Medlen, Peyton Fitzsimmons, and Eliana Fitzsimmons.
As a follower of Christ, Sandra's greatest desire was that everyone know Jesus Christ as Lord and would know the Love that God has for each and every person. She is greatly missed, but wanted us to celebrate the fact that she is now perfect, rejoicing in Heaven.
Services will be held at Adams Funeral Home of Nixa on Friday, September 9th, 2022. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Funeral is at 11:30 am.
