Sandra Faye Koch

Sandra "Sandy" Faye Koch, of Stevens Point, passed away with her beloved husband, Terry, at her side, on August 24, 2025, at House of the Dove in Marshfield, WI, at the age of 80.
Sandy was born April 10, 1945 in Cecil, WI; daughter of the late Melvin and Myrtle (Wiskow) Schultz. She grew up in the area and attended local schools. She graduated from Bonduel High School in Bonduel, WI, with the Class of 1963.
Following high school, Sandy began working for IBM where she met the love of her life, Terry Koch. Together they decided to leave IBM and start their own respective businesses. Terry started "The Discounter" and Sandy started "Creative Touch", both located in Plover, WI. Being a business owner, Sandy was happy to be an active member of the Plover Area Business Association for 10 years. Sandy's hard work wasn't limited to her business; she also worked hard to give back to her community. She devoted countless hours to Stephen Ministry and various committees at Trinity Lutheran, including the Christian Life and Growth committee which was responsible for a weekly Wednesday Night Supper. Sandy graciously dedicated herself to making those weekly dinners a huge success, with the help of others. Additionally, she and Terry both found joy in volunteering with Operation Bootstrap each holiday season.
Sandy truly cherished her time with her family and especially enjoyed going boating with Terry on Lake Michigan, the Bay of Green Bay, and Lake Butte des Morte. When she had time to herself, she could often be found knitting. Sandy enjoyed knitting with her neighborhood knitting group as well. With Sandy's caring nature, it was no surprise that she and Terry would welcome a beloved pet dog to their home. For 7 years, they loved and doted on their very own fur-baby, Riley.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Terry of Stevens Point; a son, Jeff Kehoe (Terri) of Swedesboro, NJ; her step-children, Kimberly Fay (David) of Waterloo, WI, and Jeffrey Koch (Suzan) of Vancouver, WA; and her step-grandchildren, Cody and McKenzie. She is further survived by her brother, Larry Schultz (Deb) of Bath, PA; two sisters, Debbie Hull (David) of Shawano and Pam Schmidt (Ron) of Bonduel; 7 nieces and nephews, Jennifer Reese (Frank), Michael Schultz (Mareike), Susan Dennard (Tim), Mindy Lohff (Kevin), Josh Hull (Caitlin), and Courtney and Miranda Schmidt; and 10 great-nieces and nephews, Jake, Sam, Henry, Arlo, Nathan, Amy, Brody, Logan, and twins expected in December.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Myrtle.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Sandy's husband, Terry, for the exceptional care and loving devotion he provided Sandy during her illness, and to Compassus Hospice staff and House of the Dove in Marshfield for the kind and compassionate care as well as for the support provided to Sandy and her family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Sandy's name at a later date.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church - 1410 Rogers Street, Stevens Point. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
