Sandra Faye Koors

Sandra Faye "Sandy" Koors, 67, of Latonia, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her bedside, Sunday, August 25, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood.  Sandy was born June 20, 1957, in Georgetown, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Samuel "Sam"  Wood and Bernice Mason Wood.  She was a homemaker who loved to crochet, gardening and her flowers.  She is survived by her daughter, Leanna Koors; grandson whom she loved dearly, Wyatt Koors; her siblings, Samuel "Tommy" Wood (Elizabeth); Sharon Minardi (Gene); Linda Pumphrey (Dan); and Deborah Wood-Black.  Per her wishes, she will be cremated and burial at a later date at Mother of God Cemetery.
