Sandra Krein

Sandra J. Krein, age 68, of Harborcreek, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. She was born in Titusville, PA on November 26, 1956, daughter of the late Edward and Betty Hicks Schillinger. Sandy graduated from Harbor Creek High School in 1975. She had a warm, friendly nature and never met a stranger-she could strike up a conversation with anyone. Always a steady presence, Sandy stood by her loved ones through life's highs and lows. She enjoyed the simple joys of life-bingo nights, country music, Hallmark movies, camping trips, horse races, auctions, and visits to the casino. Most of all, Sandy cherished time spent with her family, whether it was babysitting the little ones or joining in on family getaways. Sandy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Carl "Skip" Krein, Jr.; her son, Aaron Krein; one brother, Edward Schillinger (Sally); one sister, Pamela Eggleston (Michael); two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Krein and Kevin Krein (Melanie); two uncles, Paul Hicks (Becky) and Bill Schillinger; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Anthony and Kerry Krein.
