She attended Bradley Bourbonnais High School in Bradley, Illinois. Before Sandy retired she worked for Walgreens and as a seamstress.
Sandy married the love of her life Charles F. Marlin on August 18, 1962 and together they had 5 children, Sarah, Catherine, Kim, Sherri, and Charles.
Sandy's parents, Ralph and Vivian, husband, Charles, twin daughters, Sarah and Catherine, sister, JoAnne, and brother, Kenneth all preceded her in death.
Sandy is survived by her sister, Harriet Shearin of Springfield, Missouri, two daughters, Kim Howell of Lafayette, Indiana, Sherri Marcus and husband Russell of Lafayette, Indiana, son, Charles F. Marlin Jr. and wife Katheryn of Seymour, Missouri, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed serving the Lord, Christian music, fellowship and family.
Sandy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 12, 2022 with Bro. Delmas Conley officiating.
Her arrangements have been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home Ltd. DeGraffenreid – Wood Crematory.
