Sandra J. McKee, age 86, passed from this life Saturday, April 6, 2024. Sandra was born February 19, 1938, in Hastings, Michigan to Ruben Sprague and Geraldine Cook. She grew up in Baldwin Park, California with her sisters, Linda and Kay. She married Curtis McKee on September 3, 1956 and was married 66 years until his death. After traveling the world as a military spouse, she enjoyed working for the school system, spending time with family and friends, traveling, sewing, quilting, and going to church.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sisters.
Sandra is survived by her daughters, Becky Klein of Weatherford, Cynthia Simpson of Hudson Oaks, and sons, Kyle McKee of Willow Park, Curtis McKee, Jr. of Dallas, Georgia; she has 13 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren and one on the way, and one great, great grandchild.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church, in Hudson Oaks, Texas.
Visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Friday, April 12, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas.
