Sandra Miller

Sandra Miller, 77, passed away on September 17, 2025, at Riverview Health Care in Ottawa County. She was born to Odene and Patricia (Jones) Carroll in Ironville, OH, on April 6, 1948. Sandra was a member of the Clay High School Class of 1966, where she met Thomas Miller, and they were married on January 27, 1968. Together they raised five children and celebrated 57 years of marriage.

Sandra was a dedicated housewife to her husband and children. She loved her grandkids dearly and was devoted to her family. She could often be found supporting her kids and grandkids at their various sporting events. Sandra would spend her winters in North Fort Myers, Florida, enjoying the weather. She was a passionate fan of wrestling at both the college and high school level. In addition to her passion for wrestling she found happiness in gardening, tending to her flowers, playing Mexican Dominoes, and power shopping. Her presence will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Thomas Miller; children, Ferdinand (Stacy) Miller, Chad (Barbara) Miller, Heather Lott, Tait (Amber) Miller, and Zebulin (Sarah) Miller; grandchildren, Meghan, Ian, Dawson, Faith, Wyatt, Kennedy, Owen, Bodee, Ferdinand, and Thomas; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Michele (David) Mauder; brothers, Odene Carroll and Larry (Linda) Carroll. Preceding Sandra in death were her parents; son-in-law, David Lott; and brother, Terry Carroll; and Kathy and Gloria Carroll, her sisters-in-law.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Freck Funeral Chapel, located at 1155 S. Wynn Rd., in Oregon, Ohio, on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held the following day, on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the funeral home, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Tracy Thiel. Memorial contributions in Sandra's memory can be given to the Oak Harbor Wrestling Club.
