Sandra Ann Moles
Lansing, MIShe has finally chosen to join her deceased father, Leo, mother, Ruth, brothers Dom & Sam along with many family and friends to continue being Servants of the Lord.
Sandra Ann Moles, affectionately known as Sandy to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2024, at the age of 77 in
Lansing, MI. Born on April 15, 1947, in Saginaw, MI, Sandy's warmth and vivacity were evident from a young age. Throughout her life, she cultivated a loving family, a fulfilling career, and a rich spiritual life that touched the hearts of many.
Sandy's journey through life was marked by love and dedication to those she held dear. She was a beloved wife to her husband, Scott, with whom she shared countless cherished moments. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, Brian and Cory (Nicole) Moles, who further blessed her with two adoring grandchildren, Aurora and Dolan Moles. Sandy's role as a matriarch was one she embraced with joy and grace, always providing a nurturing presence in the lives of her family.
Her love extended to her three sisters, Cathy (Pat) Hulett, Sharon (Rick) Schwartz, and Pam (Guy) Marcoux, brother Ralph (Virginia) Buggia, and sister-in-law Linda Buggia, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. The siblings' laughter and support for one another were a source of strength and comfort throughout the years.
Professionally, Sandy was a respected and valued member of the Lansing Pediatrics team, where she retired as a benefits coordinator in 1993. Her commitment and meticulous care in her role were appreciated by both colleagues and the families she served. Sandy's work ethic and compassion set a standard in her field, and her influence was felt long after her retirement.
Beyond her family and career, Sandy was an active member of her community. She found spiritual solace and joy at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, participating in its activities and forming lasting friendships with fellow congregants. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her.
Sandy's interests were a reflection of her zest for life and her love for the world's beauty. She had a special fondness for roses. Her love for reading allowed her to explore worlds beyond her own, while her skill in needlepoint created intricate pieces that were both beautiful and heartfelt. Perhaps most thrilling of all her hobbies was hot air ballooning, which allowed her to soar above the earth and experience a sense of freedom and wonder.
Those who knew Sandy would describe her as loving, faith-filled, and generous. Her kindness was not just a trait but a way of life, as she continuously looked for ways to uplift and support others. Sandy's generosity extended beyond material gifts, as she generously gave her time, wisdom, and love without reserve.
As we bid farewell to Sandy, we celebrate the legacy she leaves behind-a legacy of love, faith, and generosity that will continue to light the way for her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit, characterized by her unwavering positivity and the joy she found in every day, will remain a guiding force in the lives she touched.
Sandy's life was one well-lived and well-loved, and though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created will be cherished forever. As we honor her memory, we take solace in the knowledge that her influence will continue to bloom, much like the roses she so adored, in the hearts of those she loved.
