Of Springfield, VA passed February 16, 2025. She is the beloved wife of the late Robin J. Pereyra. Loving mother of five children, Jennifer, Bobby, Caryl, Lorraine and Andrew. Grandchildren, Simone, Wayne, Nathan, and Keifer, and Great-grandchildren Joaquin and Liam. Extended family Susan Pereyra, Dusty Michael and Michael Frank.
She is survived by her siblings, Pamela (NY), Trish (UK), Stephanie (UK) & John (UK).
Sandra spent her days caring for her Children. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, reading, Oldies Goldies music and immersed herself in one of her favorite TV shows like "Blue Bloods". She had a weakness for sweets and loved her Chai! She recently retired from her very active position at the Springfield Target, beloved by both coworkers and customers. She enjoyed spending time with her group of friends - affectionately referred to as "The Golden Girls of Springfield".
A gathering will be held at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, VA on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10AM until time of service at 11AM, followed by a reception from 12-2PM. Her favorite colors are Purple, Red and Lavender. You are welcome to incorporate those colors in honor of Sandra. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sandra's memory are encouraged to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital [www.Stjude.org] or to ECHO [www.echo-inc.org], and the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria [https://alexandriaanimals.org/].
