Sandra (Lombardo) Petrone, 85, of West Hartford, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025. Born on November 16, 1939, in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Angeloni) Lombardo. She resided in West Hartford since 1960, where she raised her family. She worked for 26 years at Visiting Nurses and Homecare and after her retirement was employed at Brittany Farms Nursing Home for 10 years.
Throughout her life she cherished family and above all else she was a loving mother to her son, Frank Petrone, who preceded her in death in 2021, and her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mark Walsh. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Garret Petrone and his fiancée Heather Rubin, Shantelle Petrone and her partner Doug Olmstead, Dustin Walsh, Sean Walsh and his fiancée Gabby Downey, and Matthew Walsh; and her great-grandchildren, Juliana, Lyla and Lainey Petrone.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of family and friends and she will be dearly missed by all that loved her gentle ways.
In accordance with Sandra's wishes, private services will be held in her memory. The Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
