Sandra Lea Pregler, age 80, of the town of Rolling, died unexpectedly at her home on June 16, 2024. She was born on January 31, 1944 in Antigo, a daughter of Roy and Nina (Hill) Parsons. She married Robert Pregler on November 6, 1965 at St. John Catholic Church.
Sandy was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1962. After high school, she worked at the Langlade extension office until her marriage. She then farmed with her husband and raised her children.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Antigo and was the secretary for many organizations including the Antigo Snow Drifters for 27 years, Langlade County Snowmobile Council for over 25 years, Tractor Club for 7 1/2 years and Langlade County Youth Fair Tractor Pull for 26 years. It was a position she enjoyed. She also enjoyed bowling and snowmobiling.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Diane (Russell) Brown of Madison; a son, Rodger (Dana Patchett) Pregler of Oshkosh; seven grandchildren, Naomi and Raymond Brown of Madison, Taylor and Trevor Pregler of Oshkosh, Heather (Brady) Patchett of Oshkosh Derek Patchett of Appleton and Natasha Johnson of Madison; four nephews, Doug (Marcela) Parsons of Florida, John (Beth) Parsons of Florida, Bruce (Jennifer) Marciniak of Brookfield and Brian (Debbie) Marciniak of Oak Creek; two nieces, Deb (Lou) DeLeon of Mukwonago and Pam (Mike) Fenlon of Brookfield; and two sisters-in-law, Eleanor (Albert) Marciniak. and Dorothy Guenther of Antigo. She is also survived by great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald (Marilyn) Parsons.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 21 at 11 a.m. at St John Catholic Church with Reverend Charles Hoffmann and Reverend George Daniel concelebrating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, from 4 to 8 pm at the Bradley Funeral Home with a 7 p.m. wake service. Visitation will also be held on Friday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church in Hoffmann Hall.
Burial will take place at a later date in the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Polar.
