Sandra Caroline Supak, better known as Sandy, passed away on September 30, 2025.
Sandy was born on May 23, 1957 in Hallettsville, Texas to parents Peter and Caroline (Kalmus) Supak.
Sandy grew up in Victoria Texas and graduated from Victoria High School in 1975 where she excelled on the basketball team. She then moved to Huntsville, Texas and attended Sam Houston State University and played college softball for SHSU in 1978 and 1979.
She then began working at The Surplus Store in Huntsville, Texas. After many years or working the store, she eventually was owner and operated the store for many years.
Sandy decided to sell the store in 2010 and began working for Walmart, where she was a 15 year employee.
In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, hunting and absolutely loved watching all kinds of sports on tv. She especially loved watching college softball, basketball and football. She loved college softball the most and had begun to make plans to attend next year's college world series in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She was a dedicated volunteer of the Huntsville Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. #1981 and was also a Past Exalted Ruler.
Sandy is survived by her mother Caroline Supak, brother Bobby Supak (wife Debbie), sisters Jan Blevins, Karen Davis (husband Mark), Suzanne Supak, Denise Duncan (husband Craig) and numerous nieces & nephews.
Funeral service for Sandy will be on
Friday, October 17, 2025
Rosary at 9:30am
Mass at 10:30am
Sacred Heart Catholic Church
400 E. 5th Street
Hallettsville, Texas 77964
Light lunch will be served after mass.
In lieu of flowers Sandy wishes were to make a donation in her name to a local animal shelter of your choice in Huntsville, Texas where she lived most of her life or to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville, Texas.
