Sandy will be greatly missed. I enjoyed her genuineness, music, and the Bible studies; her friendship. Praying for comfort to her family.

Sandy was an important part of the praise band at Topeka First United Methodist Church. She could play any song I put in front of her and played it beautifully. She made highlights and notes on all of her music, even funny notes like "Seth said he really likes this song" - I think of Sandy every time I play keyboard in church.

I so enjoyed the many Bible studies that Sandy led. Her perfect blend of humor and knowledge and caring heart drew us all in. She was a blessing to so many. Lord, thank you for sharing Sandy with us. It didn´t seem long enough.

Sandy was truly an amazing person. She was wise beyond her years, sweet and talented, dedicated to the Lord and to bettering the lives of others. I have so many special memories of her. She was truly a gift.

Our prayers go out to Sandy's family. She was a bright light in so many of our lives at Baylor, in the school of music, and especially in the Baylor Religious Hour Choir. About 25 of us from the 70s gathered in Fort Worth just a month ago for the memorial service for our beloved BRH director, John Lee. We all wondered which alums would make it, Sandy was near the top of the list of someone we wished to see & (and make music with), probably first one last time. Little did we know how short the time was! We missed our dear Sandy then, but we all look forward to our ultimate homecoming! We know your loss is deep. May your memories and God's grace sustain you.
