Sandra Tynes Obituary
She was a member of New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church and was a member and assistant teacher of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She enjoyed watching all sports and her favorite teams were St. Louis Cardinals, Kentucky Wildcat Basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs. She was a retired school bus driver for Marshall County for 44 years. On numerous occasions through the years her home was always open to many family members and friends.
She is survived by her children Keith Tynes (Susie), Jacquelyne (Jeff) Seay; three grandchildren, Brandon Tynes, Kayle (Taylor) Sanders, Denver (Lizzy) Seay; five great grandchildren, McKenna Sanders, Madden Sanders, Lincoln Seay, Ryan Seay and Peter Seay.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jackie Tynes; sister, Pam Myers and her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Penick officiating.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery,
Visitation will be held between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on January 25, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th Street Benton, KY.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Hillcrest Cemetery Fund c/o Gary Smith, 86 New Harmony Church Road, Benton, KY 42025.
