Sandra Virginia Weaver Obituary
Coats, NC: Mrs. Sandra Virgina “Sandy” Hoover Weaver, age 77, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Coats, NC. Rev. John Mack Weaver, III will officiate. Burial will follow in Coats City Cemetery in Coats, NC.
Mrs. Weaver was born on December 9, 1945 in Washington, DC to the late Ralph Warren Hoover and Mary Catherine Malone Hoover. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Weaver, Sr., and siblings, Charlie Hoover and Joyce Robinson. Mrs. Weaver retired from banking and retail management. She was a woman of faith, who loved her family dearly. Sandy was truly a one-of-a-kind individual who never met a stranger. She will forever be remembered for her contagious smile that brightened the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Surviving include her children, Phil Castle and wife Janet, Jerry Wayne Weaver, Jr. and wife Sarah, John Mack Weaver, III and wife Jeanne, Mary Weaver, and Sandi Gay and husband Erick; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 12:30PM-1:45PM, Thursday, November 30, 2023 prior to the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC.
