AUSTINTOWN - Sandra L. Williams, 73, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Briarfield at Ashley Circle, surrounded by her loved ones.
Sandy was born on April 29, 1952, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Robert T. Hanley and Eleanor (Mariotti) Hanley.
Sandra found joy in life's simple pleasures, relishing time spent camping with her husband, Robert A. Williams Jr., whom she married on September 4, 1998. They spent 27 loving years together.
A proud graduate of Chaney High School in 1971, Sandra went on to have a fulfilling career, notably working at Home Savings and Loan for several years, and contributing her skills to the Austintown Police Department. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her love for her family and her passion for gardening; she was known for always having a green thumb.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; her stepson, Robert (Jennifer) A. Williams III; and her treasured grandson, Brantley Williams. Additionally, she leaves behind dear cousins, Mickey and Jenny, and her lifelong best friend, Debra Fynes. Sandy's loyal golden retriever, Pete, was also a significant companion and source of joy in her life.
Preceding her in death were her beloved parents, as well as her brothers, Tom and Robert Hanley.
There will be no services held for Sandy at this time.
The family would like to thank the staff at FirstLight Home Care of the Valley and at Briarfield of Ashley Circle for their compassion, immense care, and attentiveness which they bestowed on Sandy.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
