Sara Margaret Boyce died peacefully in her home on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

She is a graduate of Queens College. Her working career was primarily with The Equitable Life Assurance Society.
Sara was devoted to her music, enjoyed travel, and was accomplished at all forms of needlework, which was a lifelong hobby. There was also often a puzzle to be worked.
She was an active member of Back Creek Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in the music and senior events programs for over seventy years. She sang with the Oratorio Singers of Charlotte for many years. She maintained a home with her mother for thirty years after her Dad died.
Sara is survived by her brother, Sam Boyce and his wife Dixie of Raleigh; Two nephews, David and his wife Janie; Michael and his wife Kelly; three grandnieces, Hannah, Rowyn, and Frances; and one grandnephew, Matthew.
A Memorial Service will be held at Back Creek AR Presbyterian Church on Saturday October 26, 2024, at 2 PM with a visitation before the service at 1PM.

Condolences to Sam and his family. I saw Sara in 2023 when I was in Charlotte celebrating my brother Gene 's 80th birthday. We took Sara out to dinner. She was still the sweet southern lady.
