Sara Fowler Obituary

Sara was born on December 29, 1958, in Buncombe County to the late, Woodrow and Betty Lou Norton.
She was a homemaker who faithfully and wonderfully cared for family all her life. She was a member of Leicester Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Sara was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth David Fowler and a brother William "Buck" Norton.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, Kenneth Fowler; daughter, Stephanie Fowler Roberson (Chad); grandson and the "Light of her Life", Brayden Roberson; siblings, Patti Norton, Norman "Peanut" Norton (Debra), Adam Norton, Stephen "Stevie" Norton (Nicole); Several special nieces and nephews who she loved very much.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Leicester Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Ellege officiating. Interment will follow at Leicester Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
Flowers are appreciated or Memorials can be made to Leicester Baptist Church food pantry.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Messino's Cancer Center, the nurses at Mission Outpatient Infusion Center, the home health nurses and physical therapist, Jordan, from Centerwell Home Health and the nurses on K7 at Mission Hospital, for the care and love they showed toward Sara and the family.
