Kindness and compassion were always a part of Sara's life. Everyone who knew Sara would describe her as the sweetest person who loved all living things. She loved to start her mornings and end her evenings enjoying her flowers and watching the wildlife in her backyard. Sara and Brad named their favorite squirrels, birds, deer, and turkey who would visit their backyard and enjoy the snacks they put out for them. Her favorite place will always be her beautiful home with her handsome husband Brad. They were married on August 25, 2006. Brad blessed Sara one last act of love on their anniversary, comfort and peace.

Sara (Ambrogio) Grimshaw, age 49, of Lake City, PA passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 after a brief illness at Cleveland Clinic, with loved ones at her side. Sara was born in Lorain, Ohio on September 15, 1975, the daughter of the late Sebastian Ambrogio Jr. and Denise DeBus. In addition to her parents, Sara's grandparents and beloved pets, Stella, Zoey, Falco, Vinny, and Medina, will welcome her to Heaven.

Sara graduated from Girard High School in 1994. She spent her career in the medical field. Sara served her community by working in hospice, palliative care, and private practice offices. Most recently, Sara was working at Sciamanda Total Health and Wellness in Erie, PA, which she absolutely loved. She would often describe Dom as the best boss ever.

Sara's love of nature brought out her artistic talents. Sara shared her paintings, craft projects, and creative home decorations with her friends and loved ones regularly. She would invite guests to her beautiful home, they would compliment a piece of art or décor and Sara would gift it to them at the end of the evening. Sara and Patty would craft, do their nails, or just be artistic every weekend in the SheShed. Sara loved being out on the boat with Brad on Lake Erie enjoying fishing and colorful sunsets. Sara also loved talking about the good old days with Nadya, remembering all our 1980's toys, Halloween costumes, Rosie's Italian cooking, balloons on big wheels at the Avonia Tavern, and being bossy.

Those left to mourn Sara include her husband of 19 years, Brad Grimshaw and their poodle Oliver, Sister-in-law Amy Grimshaw, Best Friend Patty Delavern (Jeff), Best Friend Nadya Davis (Eddie), Aunt Elizabeth Kachel (Earnie), Mother-in-law Deb Killian (Rick) along with family, friends, and colleagues.

"Three things in human life are important, the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind." ~Henry James
