Sally was married to the late John Dominick Spadafore and is survived by her two children, son John C. Spadafore of Palm Springs, CA, and daughter Carole Merritt of Fredericksburg, VA; three granddaughters, Ann Lastuvka of Philadelphia, PA, Amy Lastuvka of Tampa FL, and Donna Lastuvka of Penn Valley, CA.
Sally graduated from Shinnston High School in 1954 and then attended business school in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where she earned a secretarial certificate. She worked at Erwin Supply in Shinnston before the family moved to Virginia. She then worked for Fairfax County Public Schools until her retirement. Sally enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
