Sarah C. Carrasco

February 8, 1941 – September 21, 2025

Sarah C. Carrasco of Cedar Park, TX passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025. She was 84 years old. Sarah was born to Albert and Tilie Deabueno on February 8, 1941, in Des Moines, New Mexico

Sarah is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Tille Deabueno, her brothers Joe Deabueno, John Deabueno, sister, Bernice Garcia, nephew Greg Deabueno, nieces Gina Deabueno, Rene Holverson, and granddaughter-n-law Vanessa Carrasco.

Sarah was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and Auntie. She is survived by her son Anthony Carrasco and daughter Shari (Gustavo) Rodriquez. Her grandchildren, Dominic Carrasco, Kari Carrasco, Donovan Carrasco (Brittany), Elena Rodriquez, and her two beloved great-grandchildren Aiden Carrasco, and Demy Carrasco.

Sarah grew up in New Mexico, where she attended school, before her parents later settled in Colorado Springs, CO. It was there, she met and married the love of her life, Domingo ("Sonny") Carrasco and where her two children were born. She was married for 58 years. Sarah was a licensed cosmetologist and later transitioned into a career with Aurora Public Schools, where she first worked with preschool children. She then moved into the culinary arts department at Pickens Technical College in Aurora, CO, where she was honored with the prestigious Instructor of the Year award.

After her husband retired, they moved to Cedar Park, TX to be closer to her children, grandchildren and then grandchildren. She travelled back to Colorado as often as possible and spent as much time as she could with her brothers, sisters, and their children. When she had to go back to Texas, she would only think about planning her next family trip to God's Country (Colorado). She loved to dance with her husband,

listen to music, and enjoyed crafting, especially painting. Many of her nieces would call her when they needed someone to talk to, and she lovingly welcomed the conversations, at times, for hours. Many memories with her family have been made over her lifetime and will be cherished by all who were loved by such a courageous woman.
