Sarah Isaacs

Sarah Isaacs, 37, joined her Eternal Father in Heaven surrounded by her family at St. Luke's hospital, on October 12, 2025. She was born on October 13, 1987 in Litchfield, Illinois, to Becky and Michael Isaacs. Born with down syndrome, she never allowed it to define her or limit what she could achieve. With determination and a bright spirit, Sarah exceeded expectations placed before her living a life filled with joy, compassion, and love.

From a young age, Sarah enjoyed singing, dancing, and performing for her family and friends. She loved watching movies and acquired an impressive DVD collection. Her favorite actor was Colin Firth, and as a devoted fan had a lot of his memorabilia. Sarah also enjoyed swimming, shopping, and traveling to Disney with her family.

Sarah was confirmed at Hope Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac in 2004. She graduated from Fond du Lac High School in 2008. Some highlights of her time there include performing in Fondy Idol's talent show and bowling on the Special Olympics's team.

Throughout her life, she formed a special and unbreakable bond with her mother. The two were considered a package deal doing anything and everything together. She was also fond of her two younger brothers, referring to them as "my Thomas" or "my Daniel." They enjoyed playing outside together, teasing each other, and supporting each other in all their activities.

Sarah's hugs and kisses were notorious and if you were ever on the receiving end of one you knew you were loved. She was a friend to all and brightened up every day with her infectious smile. Despite enduring many medical complications, she navigated life with resiliency and grace.

She is survived by her mother, Becky; her brothers Thomas (Britny) Isaacs and Daniel (Jessica) Isaacs; niece Frankie Isaacs; and countless other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Michael; and grandparents Everett and Vera Grese and Tom and Shirley Isaacs.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am - 1:00pm on November 1st, 2025 at Becker-Ritter Funeral Home in Brookfield, Wisconsin. A funeral service will follow at 1:00pm. To honor Sarah's memory, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Special Olympics Wisconsin.
