Sarah Morgan Bennett (formerly Booth), a spirited, strong-willed, and loving woman, sadly left this earth on October 11, 2024. Born on January 4, 1995, Sarah imbued life with an infectious laugh and a personality that was larger than life. She was a beacon of light, illuminating the lives of anyone who had the fortune to cross paths with her.
Sarah was born in Asheboro, NC, and graduated from Southwestern Randolph High School in 2013. She had a son, Jayce Ingold, on June 22, 2012, who she considered as her greatest accomplishment. She often referred to Jayce as her "mini" as they both shared piercing blue eyes and bright personalities. Her love for Jayce was profound and reflected in every aspect of their life together.
Sarah enjoyed many aspects of life. She loved a variety of music in which she would often sing and dance to, especially hip hop. Sarah enjoyed a good movie night with her son and family. She was also an avid sports fan. Her favorite teams were the Carolina Tar Heels and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. She loved to go to their baseball and football games with her step-dad, Tony. Sarah was often the source of comedy and bellyaching laughs. She held a particular fondness for the game of rummy, which she regularly indulged in with her sisters and Nana. Sarah enjoyed spending time at her parents' pool with her son and she loved any beach as a vacation spot. Sarah was also a fiery competitor in all things. She 1especially loved to play volleyball with her sister, Alexis.
Described as outgoing, Sarah was a free spirit with a tender heart. She taught those around her the importance of humility, patience, and loving wholeheartedly. Her legacy is one of love and laughter. Sarah is survived by her beloved son Jayce Ingold, her parents, Kimberly and step-father Tony Joyce, father James Booth, Jr., her sister Alexis Pugh and her husband Ben, sister Chloe Wirt, her grandparents Barbara and Jeff Moody, grandmother Brigitte Dobson and niece Claire Pugh.
Sarah's funeral service will be held on October 25, 2024 with visitation starting 2:00 PM and the funeral to follow at 3:30 PM. The service will take place at Browers Wesleyan Church in Asheboro presided over by Pastor Bryant Madren. Sarah had beautiful, piercing blue eyes , along with a go getter personality. She wasn´t afraid to take risks either! She loved her family very much! I´m sure she´ has been reunited with her cousin Dillion and other loved ones along with Jesus Christ. Prayers for the family & son Jayce. She will be missed.
