Sarah Hunt Moyle, 72, of Harwich, MA, died on October 16, 2025, at Cape Cod Post Acute Care in Brewster, MA.

Born on December 9, 1952, in Greenfield, MA, Sarah was the daughter of Wallace A. Moyle and Shirley H. Moyle.

Sarah grew up in Gill, MA, at Mount Hermon School for Boys (now Northfield Mount Hermon), and in Newtonville, MA, where she graduated from Newton North High School. She received an associate's degree in Retailing from Endicott Junior College in Beverly, MA, in 1973. She moved to Harwich, MA, in 1984.

Sarah had an extensive career in retailing at many well-known establishments including Grover Cronin in Waltham, MA; several bookstores in Chatham, So. Dennis, and Concord, NH; Hall Oil Company in So. Dennis; and Watson's and Beth Bishop clothing stores in Orleans. She retired to care for her parents.

A member of the First Congregational Church of Harwich UCC since 2010, Sarah enjoyed vocal training with the church organist and was a dedicated choir member, often singing solos. She was a woman of deep Christian faith who cared for others. Her family is grateful for the care and concern shown to Sarah by the minister and church members, particularly during the past year.

She was an avid reader and book lover as well as an accomplished knitter, selling her handmade sweaters, scarves, gloves, and hats at the annual church fair under the name Threads of Grace. She also loved cheering on her favorite Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots teams.

Sarah is survived by her sister Susan Moyle Lynch (Michael) of Troy, NY; nieces Emily Swick (Ben) of Newton, MA; Jennifer Swick Brewer (Gina) of Easthampton, MA; and Catherine Lynch Dalton (Steven) of Astoria, NY. She is also survived by nephews Andrew Lynch of Ridgewood, NY and Jonathan Swick of Canton, MA, and by her brother-in-law George Swick of Plymouth, MA, as well as several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, aunts Patricia Moyle Orme, Charlotte Hunt Starr, and Iris Boswell Moyle Russell; uncles Kent Moyle, William Orme, Jr., and Paul Starr, and her sister Carolyn (Cindy) Moyle Swick.

A memorial service in honor of Sarah will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who wish to make a memorial gift in Sarah's name to do so to First Congregational Church of Harwich UCC, 697 Main Street, Harwich, MA 02645.
