Sarah Euphemia Pearre, age 84, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
Born on November 1, 1940, in Sardis, Georgia, Euphemia was the daughter of the late Theresa Ellison and Wendell Beall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Irvin Pearre, Jr., and her grandchild, Kenny Allred. She had a sharp wit, a good sense of humor, and loved working with the children.
Euphemia is survived by her children, Wendell Roy Pearre of Jonesboro, Terrye (Steve) Janney of Newnan, Melody (Scott) Allred of Jonesboro, and Andy Pearre of Jonesboro. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Whitney (Todd) Tilley, Stephanie Janney, Madeline (Cory) Carter, Emily Allred, Jeremy Allred, Bo Allred, Jack (Rachel) Allred, Deandre Allred, Sam Allred, and Lily Allred; and her great-grandchildren, Eli Tilley, Carleigh Tilley, Wyatt Lee, Elizabeth Carter, Alani Rowenhorst, Legend Allred, and Chozen Allred. She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 3:30 PM at Camp Memorial Park, where Euphemia will be laid to rest.
