Mrs. Sara Rawlings
Services for Mrs. Sara Rawlings will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, graveside at 3 p.m. with Bro. Bart Latner officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home Downtown.
Mrs. Rawlings, 98, of Meridian, was born in Winston County. After graduating high school she moved to Meridian. She married James C. Rawlings and they had two boys. After raising her sons she started working at Calvary Baptist Church as a secretary. She retired after 25 years. She loved to do needle point and sew.
She is survived by her sons, Tommy Rawlings of Meridian, MS and David Rawlings (Rowena) of Houston, TX; Granddaughter, Raimi Rawlings; and a Grandson, Ryan Rawlings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Laura Jackson; and her sister, Avis Croson.
