Sarah Watson, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 8, 2025. Sarah was born in Lourdes, Newfoundland Canada, on June 7, 1947, to the late John and Magdeline Bullen. Sarah attended high school in Lourdes. Soon after she married a member of the US Air Force, and relocated to Beech Grove, Indiana in 1966. In December 1966, she gave birth to her Daughter, Denise. In February 1971, she gave birth to her Son, Jerry Jr.. She was a loyal manager for United Package Liquor for 20+ years, followed by Big Red Liquors until she retired at 70 years of age. Sarah was a life member of Loyal Order of Moose Beech Grove, Indiana Lodge #1883 since 1973. Sarah was also a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Beech Grove, Indiana Aerie #4167.
Sarah enjoyed returning home to Lourdes to spend time with family as often as she was able to. After retirement, she looked forward to spending the weekend with family and friends at the lake. She loved bingo, going to the casino, playing cards, and dining out with family and friends. She treated everyone with love, kindness, and made all who crossed paths with her feel like family.
Sarah is survived by her son, Jerry (Donna) Erisman Jr.; grandchildren, Shelby, Chelsi (Athene), and Jaycee (Sam); great-grandchildren, Aiden, Aaliyah, Dayna, Tinley, Justin, Sophia, Brayden, and Deasia; sisters; Joan Marche, Mary Snook, and Debbie (Michael) Snook; and brothers; John (Erma) Bullen Jr., Pius (Ann) Bullen, Ralph Bullen, and Reggie (Patricia) Bullen. She is also mourned by all of her nieces, nephews, and a large circle of extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her daughter; Denise Erisman, sister; Elizabeth (Leo) Skinner, and brothers; George (Val) Bullen, Cecil Bullen, and Clyde Bullen.
Visitation will be held at Indiana Funeral Care (Greenwood) on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 4:00-7:00pm, with a service from 7:00-8:00pm
