Sariann Whittle Burns, a beloved daughter, friend, and true Texas woman, passed on July 3, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on February 11, 1945, Sariann was a woman of strength, kindness, and a zest for life. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her gentle spirit and unwavering resilience. She loved animals, especially horses and donkeys, and found joy in the outdoors, often spending her days outside soaking in the beauty of nature.
Sariann's warm personality and genuine heart left an imprint on everyone she met, never hurting a soul and always seeing the good in others. She worked at a bank with dedication and integrity, and was known for her quiet strength—mentally and physically. Sariann was active and lively, enjoying the simple pleasures of life like playing bingo, and late nights of poker, which she loved dearly. A true Texan at heart, Sariann never complained and never asked for help, embodying independence and grace. She cherished the little things in life, always appreciating the beauty in everyday moments.
Sariann will be missed deeply by her family and friends who remember her as a kind, strong, and joyful soul. Her legacy of love and resilience will forever remain in our hearts.
