Saturnina was born in the Philippine Islands on December 13, 1933, to her proud parents, Marcos Reyes and Daria Asuncion. She met and married Dominador Nuval, and along with their children, immigrated to the USA in 1978 and settled in Watsonville. She worked for many years at Richard Shaw Cannery and Driscoll's strawberry farms.
She enjoyed dancing, fishing, going to the beach, and spending time with friends. She also loved traveling, especially to Reno, NV. Most of all, she loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was a woman of faith and attended the Christian Fellowship Center in Santa Cruz.
Saturnina is survived by her children, Melba, Almira, and Nolie, as well as her son-in-law. She also leaves behind two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominador Nuval, Sr, her son Dominador Nuval, Jr., and her sisters, Fractosa and Tecla Reyes.
A viewing will be held at Mehl's Colonial Chapel on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will take place on Monday, June 23, 2025, starting at 11 am.
