Savannah Jane Leeper

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Savannah Leeper, who left us far too soon on April 26, 2025, at the age of 22. Born on January 8, 2003, in San Jose, California, Savannah grew up to be a vibrant and fiercely loving soul who spent the last 16 years of her life in Modesto.
Savannah lived a life filled with creativity, passion, and deep devotion to those she cared for. Whether she was jamming to her favorite music, creating bold and beautiful makeup looks, or diving into the immersive world of video games and horror movies, Savannah expressed herself unapologetically. She worked as a dog groomeran occupation that perfectly suited her gentle, patient nature and her love for animals.
A proud and doting new mother, Savannah found her greatest joy in holding her new son, Sage Joshua Leeper. She poured her love into every moment they shared, embracing motherhood with grace and deep affection. Her cat, Puppy Cat, was her loyal companion and a cherished part of her small, close-knit family.
Savannah was an avid fan of Stitch and Garfield, and her playful spirit and quirky sense of humor shone through in everything she did. But perhaps her most defining quality was her capacity to love. If Savannah loved you, you knew itshe loved wholeheartedly, without reservation, and sometimes even when you felt you didnt deserve it. Her friendships were lifelong, enduring through time and distance, arguments and silence. To be loved by Savannah was to be accepted, fiercely and forever.
She is survived by her loving parents, Alvin Joseph and Terra Lynn Leeper; her beloved son, Sage Joshua Leeper; and her sister and lifelong friend, Casey Joy Leeper. Her memory will be carried in the hearts of all who knew her.
Savannahs laughter, loyalty, and warmth will be deeply missedbut never forgotten. May her light continue to shine in those she touched.
