Savita Arya Obituary
Savita Arya, age 54, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at her home.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Julian Griner officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Born on April 30, 1970, in Mumbai, India, she was the daughter of Ramniwas Arya and Pushpa Arya. Dr. Arya found great joy in teaching, inspiring countless students with her wisdom and passion for medicine. She was deeply committed to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals, always encouraging excellence and compassion in patient care. Dr. Arya lived a life guided by its principles of kindness, service, and lifelong learning. Her presence will be deeply missed by her colleagues, students, and those fortunate to know her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Shiv Charan Dhiman of Valdosta; daughter, Ishita Dhiman; sisters, Kavita Krishna and Vishakha Arya.
