Scott Backoff Obituary
Per the wishes of the family, a private graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials in Scott's name may be directed to the family for a later designation. Scott Edward Backoff was born November 18, 1968 to Edward and Mary (Lee) Backoff in Marshalltown, Iowa. Scott grew up in Marshalltown and later graduated from Marshalltown High School in the class of 1987. Scott furthered his education attending the University of Northern Iowa and obtained his Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree. Scott was a lifelong Marshalltown resident. He spent a number of years working for Superior Cleaning before working for Servicemaster.
Scott is survived by his parents, Ed and Mary Backoff of Marshalltown, Iowa; his grandmother Frances Louise; his brother, Steve Backoff of Minnesota; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
