Scott Blakeley Obituary
Beloved son of Kenneth Blakeley (deceased) & Ruth Anne Dykeman. Beloved husband of Candice (Peters) Blakeley for over 28 years. Loving father of Felicity, Sadie, and Victor. Cherished grandfather of Salvatore and Brooklyn. Dear brother of Brian, Stephanie, Linda, Holly, Heather, Richard, Kenneth, and Patricia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Scott was predeceased by his sweet granddaughter Annabelle, his sister Vicki, and his brother Howard. Also, never to be forgotten, his "batch-house" dog, Hershey. Everyone was family to Scott, he didn't believe in the word stepchildren.
He was an avid woodworker, surfer, lover of gardening, and hard work in general. Scott worked in the asphalt business for over forty years for which is now known as Aggregate Industries.
He will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him, especially his family and asphalt coworkers.
A memorial service will be held at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 58 Long Pond Dr., South Yarmouth, MA on Friday, October 14 from 4:00pm through 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Scott's name, to Beacon Hospice, 68 Center Street, Suite 19, Hyannis, MA 02601.
