Scott Cizewski, 57, of New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
Scott was born on October 8, 1968, in La Porte, Indiana, to Robert and Irma (Arndt) Cizewski.
On May 28, 1988, in Michigan City, Indiana, he married Lorrie Ann Silakowski who survives. Also surviving are his children, Emily and Tim Mace of La Porte and Adam and Tayler Cizewski of South Bend; siblings, Marc Cizewski of La Porte, Salone England of Texas and Daphne Tollis of Florida; nieces and nephews, Mindi and Jon Price of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jack and Evan Cizewski of La Porte, and Courtney, Brittani, Kayleigh and Jullien Heath of La Porte; special family, Mike and Julie Smith of Michigan City; plus numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kim Miller.
Scott worked as a sales manager at Gurley Leep GM Giant. He was a member of First Church of God. Scott enjoyed grilling, serving others and spending time with his family.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 6 pm on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at First Church of God with Pastor Jeff Zigler officiating. Those attending the service may choose to wear, if desired, tropical or vacation attire to honor Scott's love for the beach.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the First Church of God, 2020 E. Lincolnway, La Porte, IN 46350.
