He was born on June 7, 1961, in Peoria, Illinois, to the late Leonard Duane and Patricia Ann (Foley) Cordrey.
Scott was united in marriage to Pam (Baltrunas) Cordrey, on February 19, 1991. She survives his passing and remains grateful for the years they shared.
Scott lived a simple, content life centered around the things he loved most. He enjoyed spending countless hours fishing and gaming online, but above all, Scott cherished his family, especially his grandchildren. Time spent with them brought him pride and happiness.
Those that remain to cherish his memory are his wife, Pam; sons, Scotty Cordrey Jr., Christopher Cordery; daughters, Patricia Shirk, Katrina Cordrey, Melissa Cordrey, Kimberly Cordrey; brother, Robert Cordrey; brother,Jerry Cordrey; sisters, Milley Beston, Kelley Cordrey, Maggie Goodman; grandchildren, Landon, Alex, Samson, Annabelle, Braxton, Ashton, Kegan, Kyler, Makayla, Elliott, and one grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, David, Thomas, Timothy, Terry, and Cordrey, and grandson, Nathaniel Wimmer.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
