Clinton Autenrieth Leeper

Clinton Autenrieth Leeper, 33, of Fulton, passed away at the University of Missouri Hospital, surrounded by those who loved him most.
He was born on July 28, 1992, in Jefferson City to the late Darrell Leeper and Lori Leeper.
Clinton was united in marriage to Sarah Leeper on August 24, 2019, and together they built a life filled with love and shared adventures.
Clinton was a 2011 graduate of South Callaway High School and remained connected to many friends and community members throughout the years. An avid outdoorsman, Clinton found his greatest peace in the outdoors, the woods were his second home. He lived for deer season, arrowhead hunting, for long days of fishing, and the challenge of trapping. These weren't just hobbies to him; they were a way of life.
His greatest accomplishment, though, was his son, Wesson. Clinton took immense pride in teaching him everything he knew about the outdoors. Passing those skills onto Wesson wasn't just something he enjoyed; it was something he believed in, a legacy he was proud to leave behind.
When he wasn't out in the woods, Clinton was building a life rooted in hard work and simplicity. He embraced homesteading-raising and butchering chickens, quails, pheasants, and more. He took pride in canning the vegetables he grew in his garden, living the kind of hands-on, old-school lifestyle most people only talk about. He also had a knack for wheeling and dealing like no one else. And he especially loved collecting cast iron, restoring each piece with care, and giving it new life.
Those that remain to cherish Clinton's memory are, his wife Sarah, mother, Lori, son, Wesson, brother, Don Carter III, sisters, Casie Leeper, Jennifer Carter, and best friend, Mason Horstman.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Maupin Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
